About the Founder

Mei Chen

"After spending years working as a lawyer, I left the law firm life to devote time to my children's health and education. As a parent of accelerated and exceptional learners, I struggled to find the appropriate curricula and educational resources. The result was not only the loss of opportunities for greater learning but an awareness that too many bright, motivated, energetic kids are underserved and overlooked.

I am excited about the path forward. Bears & Feathers strives to fill in some of the gaps. Aspiring youth have the opportunity to execute projects that push the next frontier and call for fresh perspectives. By bridging real-world learning, tomorrow's leaders grow not only vision but also character."
