At Bears & Feathers, we fuel meaningful youth-led projects that inspire giving with agency and intention. We encourage project leaders to prepare presentations and proposals that they deliver to prospective donors and interested parties. We strive to devote 100% of funds raised to the project itself by keeping any costs associated to a bare minimum. At the core of our efforts, together with our generous partners, we are driven by the guiding principle of "planting seeds today for a fruitful tomorrow."

Leadership in the Spotlight

Youth take their project by the helm, from project proposal pitch through operations and beyond. In guiding teams and tackling project elements, youth leaders build confidence, grit, boldness, and creativity - capabilities that budding minds carry into lifelong endeavors.

At the heart of all B&F-supported projects is the intention to improve the world and its inhabitants, no matter on what scale. Our message is that you can be bold and take a path untraveled while still maintaining a sense of belonging and safety, especially among peers. Youth leaders are passionate about making change. We hope that by providing project support along their project journey, we are also helping youth leaders discover their own tribe of enthusiastic supporters. Along the way we cheer for breaking new ground and changing a youth's life trajectory, one project at a time.

Providing essential resources to bring youth ideas to life. We actively seek donors, collaborators, partners, sponsors, and advocates. 100% of net proceeds raised for a project are funneled to the initiative. At B&F we are honored to operate with the primary vision and culture of giving.

Encouraging projects that build confidence and community impact. Projects and youth leaders are not defined by a particular mold at B&F. We understand that creativity and innovation flourish best when youngsters are given a blank canvas and the tools to develop ideas, daringly. We maintain flexibility in selecting a project for funding, including determining which project best matches the resources available at the time.
